Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old — or the legal tattooing age in your jurisdiction — to use the App.
The App is intended for tattoo artists, apprentices, and clients working with a licensed professional.

Generated stencils
Stencils produced by the App are AI-generated references. They are provided for inspiration and transfer only.
You remain responsible for the final tattoo. Before applying permanent ink:

Review proportions
Confirm scale and placement read correctly on the body.

Verify correctness
Check linework, spelling, and detail against the reference.

Use professional judgment
Apply your craft before committing permanent ink.
Your content
You retain all rights to images you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, worldwide license to process the image solely to produce a stencil.

No model training
We do not train models on your uploads.

No third-party sale
We never sell your images to third parties.
Acceptable use
You agree not to upload content that:
- Infringes third-party rights.
- Depicts minors in any way that could be considered exploitative.
- Violates applicable law.
Paid features
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the price displayed at purchase. Manage or cancel anytime from the relevant portal:

Termination
We may suspend access for violations of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings Delete Account.
Liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes are resolved in the courts of Delaware.

AI generation
StencilMaker uses generative AI — xAI's Grok image model as the primary generator, with Google Gemini (via Vercel AI Gateway) as a fallback — to convert your uploaded reference image into a black-line stencil. Each generation is a machine-derived interpretation; output quality varies.
You are responsible for reviewing the generated stencil before applying it to skin. StencilMaker does not store user-supplied prompts because users do not supply prompts — the prompt template is assembled server-side from your style selection.
This disclosure satisfies App Store Review Guideline 5.1.2(i) and Google Play’s AI-Generated Content policy requirements for apps that use generative AI.
